1. How do I join Design Directory Ireland?
Design Directory Ireland currently only represents members from the following organisations: Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI), Institute of Designers Ireland (IDI), Royal Institute of the Architects of Ireland (RIAI) and the Council of Irish Fashion Designers (CIFD). If you are a member of one of these organisations and would like to have a profile on Design Directory Ireland you must first give permission to your respective host body for your data to be shared.
  2. Where did the information on my profile come from?
Each designer’s profile was created using the public information displayed on their respective host directory (DCCoI, RIAI, IDI, CIFD). By opting in to inclusion in the directory, each designer gave permission for this information to be used. If you would like to edit or remove any of this information you can do so by logging into your profile. You can also unpublish your entire profile at any time through your account page.
  3. Why can’t I access the website via the link in the welcome email?
From the time you receive your welcome email you have 7 days to access your account and to set your password. After this period the link to your profile will expire. If you need to get a new reset link please go to https://designdirectoryireland.ie/password-lost/.
  4. The functionality of the website isn’t working correctly and the layout doesn’t look right. How do I fix this?
Please ensure that you are using a modern web browser such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Microsoft Edge.
  5. Why can’t I upload images to my profile?
Profiles have a 6 image limit. Images uploaded to Design Directory Ireland must not exceed 800KB. If you are having trouble uploading your files because they are too large please reduce the file size of your image.
  6. How do I remove my profile from the directory?
Visit your account page, at the bottom of the page change your Profile Status to Unpublished and click Update Profile to save your changes.
